Victoria Ann Johnson, M.A.

Victoria Ann Johnson received her B.A. degree in Social Psychology from Florida Atlantic University in 1977 and was awarded membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She received her M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology from Goddard College in 1979. Victoria has been a Coordinator of the South Florida Chapter of the Association of Humanistic Psychology and acted as President of Share, Inc., a non-profit service organization. She is currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Marriage and Family Therapist and has a private practice. As a Psychological Consultant, she leads seminars for a wide variety of organizations.

Victoria has developed PLAYWORKS, an educational, creative, and playful therapeutic methodology, which makes complex issues simple and abstract concepts concrete. She uses PLAYWORKS in her counseling work and in writing.

On a personal level, Victoria renews herself by spending time in nature, walking, swimming, and kayaking with her husband. She daily seeks to live a creative, balanced, happy, and healthy life and to be of loving service to others.
